My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - This Day Aria (Male Variation)

I've wanted to try singing something properly for a while now, especially since I got into Friendship is Magic. Well, don't expect your ears to be lovingly caressed here.... This is the first time I've ever recorded myself singing, and the 6+ hours of takes it took to get these 2 minutes of vocals proves how bad I am. Don't think of this as a song, but rather a practical example of the modified lyrics.

My inexperience aside, I'd also like to apologise for the audio quality, as it was recorded on a simple webcam and sadly glitches in a couple of parts. Ironically it crackles when I make too much noise, which is the opposite problem I have, as I can't sing 'properly' because I live in a shared house and don't want to be heard. So a lot of the badness comes from my limited volume...

I hope I did a decent job of the two voices. I was never trying to imitate Shining Armor's voice, but rather make the contrast obvious (and it's hard to not sing high when it's a female lead song). Hopefully you'll like the variant lyrics too.

So, please let me know how you think I could improve my singing/voice acting - like I said, it was my first try, so don't be 'too' critical, I know I'm not good. Also, I'm willing to hear any suggestions of what to do next. If this video is well received, I'll follow it up with the Reprise verse as a thank you!
