Profile: The mutation of Lacy's DNA has given her the ability to control particles in the air and create enough friction between them to summon fire at will. She can throw fireballs short distances, enhance her melee attacks with fire and with enough training, could theoretically be able to make things spontaneously combust. (It has been theorised that much of her power has yet to be untapped... she could prove to be an extremely adept fighter, should she assert herself.)

Despite having such a strong ability she does not like fighting or confrontation and chose to be part of the Secondary Guard, defenders of Lightown. Lacy dislikes very girly things, pink things, and pathetic, needy people who don't help themselves. She enjoys being different and dyes the tips of her hair with blue berries, which she specially prepares herself. Despite living her entire life on such a small island she does not yet know how to swim. She loves sunsets, the night sky and enjoying time with her friends.

The tooth necklace around her neck was given to her by her boyfriend who disappeared the night after he gave it to her. She remains adamant that he is alive and well: still faithful to him after a number of years since his disappearance, citing that he loved exploring and was probably camping within the deep caves beneath the island. She watches the sunset every day from a ledge at the rear of Lightown overlooking the sea, hoping that one day he will sneak up behind her and give her a hug just like he used to.

This was drawn on 3/9/09, then inked and colored on 11/9/09. This has to be one of my fastest turn-arounds in quite a while!

The story behind the sword is fairly simple, in that during a fight an ally lends it to her, at which point she discovers that she can channel her flames into the blade. (This is caused by her subconsciously manipulating the particles within the sword to create friction, which in turn creates heat around the blade, engulfing it in flame) The symbol in the flame is a tattoo she has on her right hip, and the face in the background? Well... I guess you'll find out ;D
