Clearly unamused, Yuri glared at Hagironi, unable to resist his hatred towards this monster of a human.
Not wanting to waste any time, the black ninja withdrew 2 kunai from his back-pocket with a chilling look of glee on his face. Without a moment of hesitation and loving the look on Yuri's face, he threw them at the hugging duo, one each.
Valuing Maya's life before his own he quickly pushed her to the side, knowing a few scratches would be better than a knife in the back. He too dived to the side, but couldn't escape the attack in time as the kunai meant for Maya tore through his jacket and cut the back of his arm, staining the olive-green fabric with it's crimson taint.
The two landed on the floor with a thump, Maya landing quite hard on her back and Yuri on all-fours before buckling under the new pain in his left arm. As Maya opened her eyes, ready to complain harshly about being pushed over, she noticed that Yuri had already got onto his knees and was holding onto his left arm with his right hand as the blood stain grew bigger on his jacket.
Smiling at the panic he was causing, Hagironi raised the 2 new kunai he had in each hand, wanting to play a little more with the suddenly weaker Yuri - he thought it strange how he suddenly teleported behind his little girlfriend and lost all his strange power while doing so, but he wasn't one to ask questions about stupid manurers. Yuri stood up, still grasping his bleeding arm as he continued to glare at Hagironi and his 4 kunai, fiercely determined and clearly not scared.
Not wanting to disappoint, Hagironi threw the 4 kunai at Yuri in a wide arc. Yuri continued to stand strangely still as the kunai hurled towards him, worrying Maya that he was in too much pain to move. To Haigroni's surprise the 4 kunai hit him head-on, tearing right through Yuri's body and out the other side with little resistance. Maya's blood ran cold and her eyes dilated as she watched her old friend slowly fall backwards, shrieking his name out in distress. Suddenly, Yuri's body burst into flame and disappeared, blown into the wind.
Hagironi realised he'd been had the second it was too late. Yuri appeared right under his nose and slid into his legs, knocking him forward and in a seamless combo rammed his knee into Hagironi's stomach while pushing off the floor with his hands and back-flipping, while kicking the black ninja in the chin and sending him flying backwards, ready for the final attack!
