The sisters steadily made their way through the oaks and aspens of the Lowlands Forest, a blanket of trees that skirted the base of the Highland Mountains. Unlike Silent Pine’s reputation for the troublesome beasts that dwelled within, the Lowland Forests were known for a complete lack of predators and an abundance of natural foods, making their passage a comfortable one. It didn’t take long for Ponydale to disappear behind a wall of trunks, leaving the pair completely isolated from the outside world once more, now bathed in the heady fragrance of fallen leaves. “It’s a good thing you woke up when you did,” Celestia began without provocation. “I was hoping the ponies of Ponydale would help you recover. Lot of good that would’ve done.” Luna snorted, though the humour of her sister’s sardonic remark was blunted by the shadow of recent events that loomed over her. Celestia had turned away the first and only friends they had ever made, and she acted as though that meant nothing to her.

No matter how experienced one is with traversing a swamp, the mosquitoes still bite the same. As the group ducked and weaved their way through the muggy jungle, the ponies’ formation naturally shifted, with Sweet Blossom and Rootin’ Tootin’ falling to the back, while Princess Luna found herself at the head with Meadow Flower. Despite remaining attentive to obscured skittering noises and careful hoof placement, conversation inevitably cropped up between the paired ponies, which lead to more intimate conversations than experienced by the trio on the way here. “Have you travelled far, Petite Bleue?” Meadow Flower asked, breaking her long silence since the stallion’s arrival. “Oh, me?” Luna stumbled, surprised by the sudden address. “Quite far, I suppose, yes.” “Sweet Blossom mentioned you comin’ through the Southern Hills on your way here, which last time I checked was the opposite direction from Canterlot—though you can’t be certain of anything these days, maudit ce bétaille. She was gone. The kinetic energy in Star’s wake hit Discord and the Mirror like a bubble, wrapping around them before a bright flash of light expelled it back; a visual suggesting that the pegasus had been successfully slingshot back in time as intended. As the loud rumbles and rainbow shockwave dissipated, Discord and the audience were left alone in silence. This was how it was meant to be, of course, but Twilight couldn’t help but feel a small sense of loss at the departure. She really was gone. Twilight Sparkle’s journey from friendless filly to Princess of Equestria had seen its fair share of goodbyes, but none had ever truly been final… Not until recently. Perhaps this was simply part of growing up and leaving foalhood behind; proof that those innocent days of being a carefree unicorn bookworm were long gone. It was a hard truth to accept, but this was the best outcome for everycreature involved. Time marches forward, lives are finite, and all good things come to an

Flight of the Valkyrie: The Final Letter
Dear Princess Celestia, It has been a long time since I have written a letter to you, and longer still since I have sent one. I have always found solace in writing to you during moments of confusion, desperation, or reflection; and though you shall never see it, I can feel your hoof on my shoulder as I write even now, watching over me with calm understanding and unfaltering trust. This last month has been a whirlwind of emotion, nostalgia, and a brief return to the passion and instability of my youth. Perhaps all this reflection is why I am writing this letter now, and why my mind has begun to wander to the future as of late. I must admit that I did not comprehend the full scope of my duties, both as a princess and as an alicorn, until recently, and the burdens that you and your sister must have bore in silence. Just as you mentored me during my formative years, I, too, have discovered a bright young protégé on whom to impart my knowledge, hopes, and dreams of a better tomorrow.

“And then she said that our visitor would be leaving soon, so I just had to return and meet her before she left. It's not every day one gets to meet a genuine ‘antique’ pony!” Rarity enthused as she walked alongside Applejack, her purple and white-fur-trimmed cape flowing behind her as they trotted down Canterlot Castle’s central corridor. “Ah just don't understand how Pinkie Pie could have possibly known all that. She knew more than me, and Ah was here!” “You should know by now not to question Pinkie Pie’s uncanny intuition, darling. Best not to put too much thought into it.” The earth pony sighed, shaking her head. Some things were just beyond a simple country mare’s understanding. “So what about yer thing in Las Pegasus with Flim and Flam? Don’t they need ya there?” “Oh please, that barely took a day,” she exclaimed with a chuckle. “Truthfully, I just wanted an excuse to check in on Pistachio. He's doing a fantastic job running the Las Pegasus Carousel—you wouldn't believe the
We all know about the controversies surrounding Palworld and its not-so-original designs, and that just gave me an idea. I'm no stranger to "fakemon" with my Monster series, so I want you you suggest Pals you want to see redesigned to be original. I'll take basic cues from the existing design and sketch out an original twist not seen in Pokemon (Pocket Pair, hire me). Comment below with which Pal you want to see de-Pokemon'd!
There's nothing in my story beyond the "Distand Lands" (Tau/Mau) to the west, so once I do the Chinese unicorns to the east, the world will probably loop at that point.
